![]() ![]() the rereleases don't change much about the base games but la pucelle has a whole alternate route that was added in the psp version extending off of a joke alternate ending leading into disgaea, and rhapsody's was a prelude to them translating and porting rhapsody 2 and 3 for the very first timeĪesthetics will carry a game very far for me so these sound good. They're neat but very much games you'll be playing for the aesthetic. Rhapsody is one of the most adorable games I've ever played though, and when they call is a musical RPG, they mean it. The sum total of my experience with NIS is 30m in the first Disgaea so I'm pretty much a blank slate when it comes to NIS.īoth those games came before Disgaea and so are a touch more primitive, though I'm not sure how the remakes change things. I know a little bit about them from the big ol bitmap rpg book but I'd like to hear what people in this thread think about them if anybody is kind enough to share. I have two on my list and I'm thinking about picking one or both of them up in the current Steam sale: Rhapsody and La Pucelle Ragnarok. Just how many mistakes have you suffered on the way here?
